> Someone counts when they were in a counted voice channel for at least 50% of the fight; you can change the share. Drops under two minutes are bridged, moving between parties is one stretch, and bots and the AFK channel never count. Fights are kept for 90 days.

## The rule

A member counts for a fight when they were in a counted voice channel for at least **50% of it**. Change the share in Settings, anywhere from 1% to 100%. Everyone who was in at all is still listed, with their minutes, so you can make your own call on the edge cases.

## Which channels count

| The fight | Counts |
| --- | --- |
| Started by hand, no channels picked | Every voice channel except the server's AFK channel. |
| Started by hand, channels picked | Only the channels picked in Settings. |
| Following Voice Relay | The relay's shot caller channel and party channels in this server. |

## Drops, moves and late arrivals

- **Drops under two minutes** — a Discord reconnect, a quick restart — don't break someone's time; the gap counts.
- **Moving parties** is one stretch, and the list shows every channel they were in.
- **Joining more than five minutes late** or **leaving more than five minutes early** gets a note with the time, in your own time zone.
- **Bots** are never counted, including the Callout speaker bots.

## Deafened time

Someone sitting deafened in the channel is usually away from the keyboard. Their deafened time is always shown; turn on **Leave out deafened time** to stop it counting.

## Only some roles

Pick roles in Settings to count only members who hold one of them — your guild's member role, say — and leave visitors and allies out. A member is checked as they join a counted channel.

## Changing the rules

Each fight keeps the rules it was taken with. Changing the share, the deafened setting or the roles applies from the next fight, so a fight people were already paid for never changes under you.

## The CSV

| Column | What's in it |
| --- | --- |
| Member, Discord ID | Their display name at the time, and their ID, which never changes. |
| Counted | Yes or no, by the fight's rule. |
| Minutes, % of fight | Time that counts, and its share of the fight. |
| Joined, Left | First and last time in a counted channel, in UTC. |
| Channels | Every counted channel they were in. |
| Deafened minutes | Time spent deafened while in a counted channel. |

## What's stored, and for how long

For each fight: members' Discord IDs and display names, the counted channels' names, and when each person joined, left, moved or deafened. Nothing they say, and no messages. Fights are kept for **90 days**, then deleted; delete one, or all of them, from the dashboard any time. Only the owner and managers with the Attendance permission can see them.
